Ir. Hj Bostanudin Borham, P.Eng, BSc (Portsmouth, UK), Dip (UTM)

Ir. Hj Bostanudin Borham is the Director of Gabungan Sumber Tenaga Sdn Bhd. A Professional Engineer, he brings with him vast experience both as an Engineer and also with directorships in many companies.

Born in 1955, Hj Bostanudin obtained his Diploma in Electrical Engineering (Power) from the Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) in 1977. He then pursued his studies in England, and in 1980, he graduated with a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Portsmouth, UK (previously known as Portsmouth Polytechnic).

He began his employment as the Assistant Grid Central Engineer at TNB (previously known as LLN) from 1980 to 1982. He was then appointed as Assistant District Engineer (Menglembu District) of the same company, before assigned as the Central Engineer of the Bangsar Regional Central Centre for approximately 6 years.

In 1989, Hj Bostanudin was promoted to Project Manager at LLN/TNB Distribution Division (Mini Hydro and Rural Electrification). He held that post for a few years and later on in 1993, appointed Purchasing Manager at TNB, Procurement Department, Distribution Division.

Ir. Hj Bostanudin proves his leadership quality, as of from 1996 to 1998, he was appointed CEO of Wilatrans Engineering. Immediately after his service there, he became the Director of Gabungan Sumber Tenaga Sdn Bhd. At the moment, Hj Bostanudin also holds directorship in Abadi Ria Sdn Bhd, a post he has held since 2000. Bringing with him wide experience, he is influential in driving GST to success.
